Pre-grill marinating – sans sugar - using vinegar or lemon juice with fresh herbs! Incredible as it sounds, it’s true! Add to your vinegar or lemon juice based marinade basil, thyme, mint, rosemary, sage, oregano, etc. as they possess anti-cancer properties. Just make sure to leave those bottled, sugary marinades alone. They do not promote health.
